Logistics management

Once production is finished, the products have to be delivered to customers, and that requires logistics management. The logistics management module of the Terra ERP production management system helps manage the transport of finished products from warehouses to other warehouses or their delivery to customers. Products can be delivered with your own vehicles, by hiring outside transport, or collected by the customer. Logistics management covers information on the cargo, its storage, unloading, documentation, the transport company and so on. In this process, cargo loading can also be recorded in the mobile app.

The logistics management module of the Terra ERP production management system covers shipping finished products from the production warehouse; the delivery purpose is described, which may be moving products between the company's warehouses or departments, or deliveries to customers/clients at the addresses they specify. When planning product transport, routes and delivery addresses are specified.

When planning transport and arranging available vehicles, you need to follow production progress and know when packing will be finished, to avoid wasted time or taking up warehouse space unnecessarily. The logistics management module covers not only transport planning and route building but, first of all, forming and managing cargo.

Logistics management can also be extended with an additional integration with the Terra Logistics system, which is designed for transport management, logistics planning, 3PL logistics, cargo tracking, driver management and other functions that extend the company's capabilities and reduce manual work.
